And while we're on iconic musicals from the 70s, this is another haunting favourite. I generally have a whole thing about the 70s. Some of it's bitter sweet, but generally I don'y like anything from the 70s...well, thats not true. I tend to have a aversion to anything hippy. But this I love.

Hair was originally a musical, premiering off broadway in 1967 and only got made into a movie in 1979. I have to say, I love the show and the movie. I remember seeing the show with my parents when it first came to New Zealand - a lot tamer than the last time I was lucky enough to Stage Manage it in 1998. The late 60's early 70's was a great time. I imagine you would have been pretty young when it first debuted...
