I remember hearing this haunting intro and feeling a chill run up my spine. I don't remember when (70s tho), but it's burned into my memory...in a good way.

Boy did this bring back memories. I love this show and loved the movie. Remember totally falling for Jesus.. he was gorgeous. I have never seen this come out on DVD.. think I will now have to go searching. Were you aware that this movie and the movie of Jesus Christ, Superstar both came out in the same year..1973 and both were originally musicals which opened in 1971.. Godspell, off Broadway and Superstar on Broadway.. There was definately something going on around this time, what with Hair, Godspell and Superstar..
